If you are doing only web development i would go with Sublime Text only, but if you do multiple languages like c#, c++, python, javascript, go etc etc i would definitely go with Visual Studio Code. I prefer Vim though.

I specialice at C++, Lua, JS, CSS, HTML.

When using Sublime text, it kinda feels like its Windows XP, but Visual Studio has not that much features like Sublime text.

I don`t know, i would definetly go with Visual Studio if you are doing a professional coding career, but with sublime text, its just yet another editor i would say.
