Was crypto a failed experiment?

Nowadays it seems that crpyto is the laughing stock of the financial community and like it was never as good as it was hyped to be. Was it a Deep State experiment that failed? Or is it still in the process of being pushed to market? Drop your opinions below.

I believe BTC was most prioritized before the main stream media took ahold of it and got everyone on board which led to the rise.

I don't think it was planned by gouverment. Just another random community attempt to have freedom in finance.

It really depends on what you used it for. If you are an investor you probably look at it as a failure, but I really just used it for transactions that I didn't feel comfortable doing through PayPal. It's still useful for that purpose and I dont expect to become a millionaire off of it.

A lot of currencies ended up being a bubble, but I think that they are still valid currencies at the moment since there is still a large amount of people trading them, and their value seems to be stabilizing a bit

The fall of BTC is when it became mainstream. It will still always be a powerhouse for illegal trading and transactions. For now, it will never get as big
