Was the aatrox skin worth it?

I see so much drama about it, comparing it to Aatrox's launch skin, while other champs had their ranked skins be pretty different to their other ones, but it does have the same vibe, so i'm kinda torn on it.

It's a good skin, you get it for free and you barely needed to put effort into played. I did myt 10 promo games and got a good looking skin. No one can complain.
