This came out last week. It's a bit of a controversial study since it also considered unrealized capital gains, but it really puts into perspective how much the wealthy have corrupted the government to work for them. There are plenty of issues with bipartisan support in the US that isn't represented in Washington, even if bipartisanship in the context of Washington is gross. lol It tends to be better among the people, issue by issue. E.g. wealth taxes.
Reminds me of an anecdotal article/Reddit post I read about how rich people can go to nursing homes basically free because they have the money to hire the lawyers who can make them look poor. Meanwhile, actual middle class people suffer with the high cost of elder care and can be drained in their final years.
I don't think this is really a thing for elder care. Why would rich people choose to go to a cheap nursing home (even for free) if they can comfortably afford a better one?
For taxes I agree thsi happens continously, hovewer.
