if you like giant robots fighting, gundam series is a good idea

Gundam is good, death note is also a good anime to watch.

Also One Piece is amazing...is an ongoing (and i don't think is near the finish) but it's worth it

Although I haven't personally watched SAO, I will admit that a lot of people have said that its bad due to its terrible plot, and especiallyfor the fact that the creator of the series doesn't have any clue as to what a video game is, but tries to make a video game anime. However, there is an alternativethat I can't definitively say is better since, again, I haven't watched SAO, only heard about it, but this is definitelygood and its kind of the same idea as SAO.
