What free Text editors could I use for big files?
Notepad / Notepad++ doesn't support these files, after looking around most of these text editors wants me to pay some 20 - 60$ sum nah.

VIM Handles Anything you throw @ it.

I Am Assuming, however, that You Are a Windows user? If So, Try out either "EMEDITOR" or "LIQUID'S LARGE FILE EDITOR" the latter Loads files By chunks Instead of The Whole Content, So It'll Open pretty Much any File you Want

I use Brackets, advertised by Adobe (I think?). Truly excellent, especially for PHP.

Well, I didn't need a text editor for coding but for other purposes.
Not sure if visual studio code could run such big text files eitherway?

if it is big file must turn to IDE

for projects light your visual studio code free (know what I use)

for the big project visual studio with license it costs expensive (50-250$ month)

eclipse is free

Sublime Text 3. I think that's better than Notepad++, he has many upgrades, which can user make, like themes & plugins. Sublime also have as Notepad++ autocomplete of script tags , etc. Recommended Tongue

But ST3 definitely isn't free. Worth the price? I'd say it is.
