I use sublime text. It is lightweight. But the most important feature I like about sublime text is the popup which displays the class or function definition and reference when hovering over a class or function. Besides, there are a lot of attractive features it have which you will like.

I'm using Atom it is efficient and has lots of customization.


You can use Dreaweaver, it is very rich and perfectly suited to Web development

I love Atom editor, some rs may say no but maybe it is better to op Sublime 3

Web storm is really useful. There is a paid version and community.

WebStorm and PhpStorm both by JetBrains. They do most the work for you

Sublime is the best customizable easy to use and very light.

Use PhpStorm or Webstorm. You can use a free version, or buy the paid version for more features.

If you're a student and have a student email address you can get all JetBrains products for free too!
