They should spend it in trying to help the poor and/or world hunger.

Seems like if they wanted to help society they could build infrastructure initiatives. Helps everyone and will make them money

If the 1% all put forward their wealth to upgrade all outdated and polluting factories and related things like ocean cleanup, the current crisis the Earth is in with pollution could be greatly helped. Or helping to establish better infrastructure to streamline society more effectively. There's a lot of many different things they could do that I think could help.

Honestly if they put it towards some development for people or well being would probably be a start, not just to charity
