If you have everything, doesnt that just destroy the purpose of the game? Is cheating really beneficial or do we just tell ourselves that because we cannot accept getting rekt by that 11 yearo old?

Sometimes, you just want to sit back and have fun instead of being all serious. When i'm bored, i'll look up for cheats just to use it for fun and then forget about it...

Hacking can be just to have a bit of an advantage to letting the game play itself, some people do get satisfaction of ruining others games and some like to mess with the game and not take it seriously. There has been a sub community that's formed around hacking known as hack v hack where people try to develop the better cheats to try and out cheat people.

I don't see any advantage to cheating, it sort of defeats the purpose of gamig

The fun thing is, if your a bad player in a specific game, even with cheats you will suck. I once had a player in my Warzone squad who had Aimbot and Wallhacks. He was very bad, bad positioning, bad calls.
The strength is to be found in serenty

Cheating in multiplayer games isn't fun imho, but in single player its fine.

In the long-run nothing, but for a brief moment it may sound like the best path for someone.
I may wanna believe that most cheaters at the end do not have bad intentions.
We need to de-construct a cheater.

Gaming especially in any game genre that is somehow competitive, what is one common thing all competitive games share?
Toxicity.

Something which is at the end just makes us human. A burst of emotions. Depending on the person one may have it better under control than others.
Yet if players kick off each other on the wrong foot. Hatred will develop. This may happen again and again and again.
While these person may not have any friends able to calm them down or talk some sense into them, what happens?
The person talks with himself in the head. A conversation which is already bound to be one-sided.
Given the fact that nowadays it is quite easy to find a cheat or in general just pay x with just a click the following has to be considered.
A player who is full of depression and full of bad moments and never caught on friends may get to the conclusion to cheat.
Once that happens and the player finds a cheat rather easy. It is just 2-3 clicks away to have it.
Not really giving some time to think about it.

Then the cheats are loaded. Nobody is pointing fingers....yet.
People that cheat still enjoy the game but in a different manner.
Some cheaters even play legit and just want to have fun. Just taking the entire competitive around.
Some cheaters even just use ESP just to analyze behaviour.
Some cheaters go full rage. These most of the time are just briefly hackers while also being the ones getting banned the fastest.

At the end we all are humans. I feel like no matter if you cheat or not we shall not point fingers onto someone forever.
We need to keep in mind that cheaters are still human. It will also break them if all point fingers while THEY are alone.

This reply went way longer than I thought at start, but I was in a flow so I just went with it.

There are several factors, out of fun and malice, out of frustration and maybe out of pure curiosity about how cheating works, I met cheaters on Gtav Online who whenever they were banned bought a new account to keep on rapping, I soon saw it as an addiction
