I want to watch something that will make me sad. Something that will emotionally drain me.

Well I can post a few here assuming you didn't watch them already:
tasogare otome x amnesia
Ano hi mita hana no namae o bokutachi wa mada shiranai
and a few others, you probably watched them already. But its always nice to rewatch it after a while.

I don't usually watch these types of anime but Plastic Memories really brought me to tears. Really good anime series that only have one season also make me sad.

Full Metal Alchemist and Chobits gave me some real bad post anime depression. That's probably due to the fact those two were my first anime.

Fairy Tail and Guilty Crown. Guilty Crown made me extremely depressed with how it ended. I'm not going to spoil it, but it hit me in the feels really hard and I was pretty sad and depressed for like a week. :( Fairy Tail also made me depressed with a certain part in the anime(no spoilers), I actually cried so hard even when I tried to hold it back. ;C

Toradora was definitely the one for me. I enjoyed it so much that it was so hard to watch it end. Clannad was such a roller coaster in the end for me too.
