What are the best anti cheat plugins

Yeah NoCheatPlus is definitely the best one. I use it on my server.

Nah, the top two greatest anticheats if you're serious about detecting hackers is either Anti-Gaming Chair or Verus Anticheat. Both have a multitude of checks to tell if a player is using killaura, reach, velocity modifiers, fly, etc. and run checks on the packet level. There are a couple of videos that demonstrate how OP they are, you should check them out.

NoCheatPlus is the only one I know, but I've never run a large scale server. It's also free, so you might as well try it out and see how well it works.

Every anticheat plugin has good things and bad things.
The advantage of a premium plugin is that the hack client maker must buy the plugin to make bypasses.
Like if you have NoCheatPlus, some clients have specific hacks that bypass the checks of NCP.
I use AAC now. There are some false positives but you can avoid that by editting the values in the config.
I'm too lazzy to do that but it is on my todo list.
The author of the plugin updates his plugin frequently but sometimes a response can keep on some days.

I personally use Verus anticheat it has three teirs $60 $125 and $175 I have the highest tier and it is the best anticheat I've ever had.

A good version of AGC isn't public I know there is a leak of an old version but for todays clients its terrible and you also need their core to be able to run it else you need to take the bits of code you want and then recompile it into another plugin. Better off using Spartan or even JI Janitor at that point.

By far, NoCheatPlus is the best anti cheat at the moment for minecraft servers
