What are you best ways to up the security of a myBB website?

I'm building a forum board and I'm trying to make it as secure as possible. What are the best ways to do so?

A good secure host is a good start.

Don't download anything free... premium template stuff.. any free add on stuff. Make sure everything are bought by the original.. That's number 1 rule...
