Games: There are a lot of games for PC yes, but look at the ones that people play and look at the daily life of a gamer. There are ten times the players involved in console rather than PC. Why? Because PC is way to expensive for your average gamer to invest in, and the smart person who wants to just play and enjoy themselves would go for a console.
External Software: Obviously PC has better hardware and software. That's what its built for. The facts are that nobody cares too much about your little 4k graphics truelife or whatever it is lol. Modifications: Most of modifications that come from PC are 9/10 ported to both Xbox and PS3. However there are a lot of things that are on PS3 that isn't on PC, coming from a quite known modder in the PS3 scene.
Graphics: I've already given my opinions on this, it's pointless and it's only used for bragging rights. You never see a real gamer saying "oh shit 4k graphics ooooooh hh better than uuu" And you know why? It's because when they see it; yeah, you think "cool" but it's nothing to have an orgasm over every time you play. The whole objective of gaming is to have a good time, which console has built it's premise on. PC has a lot of ideals similar to console so you should be able to grasp that they're in the entertainment field for a reason.
