What characters have the best development in anime?

#1 For me its probably Shinichi from Parasyte. The way he develops (without spoiling the show) felt natural. It was like he was still his old self but the things around him constantly added and changed his personality. I also like that he questioned how he acts constantly throughout the show and seeks to become more like his old self again.

Same for Zero Two, she was very selfish, and later loved her friends. I honestly think Darling in the Franxx has the best character development.
