What did you get for people for Christmas/holidays?

What are you getting for people this year?

Thus far, I've got a car cover for someone with a nice car.
Pepper spray for someone that goes hiking a lot.
Spices for someone that likes to cook.
A Jeff goldblum pillow cover for someone that is too lazy to put effort into Christmas.
A glass holographic photo thing for someone whose beloved is no longer around.

Honestly after covid lockdowns my presence is a present this year

My fiancs grandma makes these really labor intensive stockings whenever someone enters the family (birth/marriage), and she just finished mine after a year of working on it. No one in the nearly 40 years that she has been making these has ever made her one, so shes the only one in the family who doesnt have one

Haha love it. I doubt that would work with my wife though since we've been locked together all year xD

I got jewelry for my wife and some clothes and my son got tonnes of new toys to keep him occupied. He's really into cars and race tracks, as well as dinosaurs. He has so many toys but he's just as happy receiving small things worth a few dollars as he is receiving the bigger gifts.

We didn't do presents this year, it was kinda sad and less exciting, but idk if anyone else cared cuz we all saved money. No one seems to want to talk around here whether or not they are doing good.

I got my younger relatives games and electronics because they told me they are too old for toys (all under the age of 12 smh). For my older relatives I made spiritual gift baskets with things such as sage, books, tea,and crystals in them. I was pretty lazy this Christmas.

A brand new wallet, some money, and that's all. Feeling not needed lol.

I only bought my nieces and nephews things this year. And since I'm the "super cool" aunt who games with them, I always get them games or virtual currency of their choice, like Robux and shit. Things their parents would never let them buy, lol. It makes it super easy because they call me first thing on their birthdays/Christmas to excitedly tell me exactly what they want this time. It's like zero effort from me, it's great.

Something that feels personal is usually what I go for. I do a lot of gifting professionally so remembering something they said in a conversation and giving a gift based around it shows that I paid attention to what they said. There's some pretty good books about strategic gift giving to build a stronger network.
