What do you guys know about the drink "Argentina MATE"?

The Mate its a famous drink here in Argentina, there's a lot of variation depend on your taste, The normal , the most famous its the hot one.

The Mate (Mate its the name, his pronunciation its very hard to explain i think, but itsnot like m8, its mor like math, but with an "E".) its like a Tea, you can drink it with just hot wather or/and sugar, like a normal Tea.
One of its most famous variations, is the "Terer", it's the same, with the "yerba" and stuff, but with juice (usually with orange juice), it sounds weird but it's pretty good.

There's a lot of memes of the "Mate", i think that's cuz the preparation, the peoplo who dont know how to preparate "Mate" think that is a drug like weed or something, in spanish "yerba" its one of the names of the "Marihuana or weed". its funy to me cuz i drink it every day. (its not a drug, but over time it is quite addictive, addictive but in a healthy way, you will not die of abstinence for not drinking mate hahaha.

The preparation:

The preparation its very easy, if you have the good ingredients.

First the "Mate",is the cup where we are going to put the "yerba" and te wather or juice. The popular mate its something like this but dont have to be like this, a normal cup no too much bigger its ok.



Once you do it that, now we have to put the "yerba" inside




Now we have the famous drink "Mate", now you're a Argentinian boludo cuantas copas tenes?

(im talking about mate of argentina, there's other type that's the type of Brazil or Uruguay/paraguay. in my opinion its taste very bad, but its all about opinions.)
