What do you think about GTA V being free on epic games?

All people did was farm accounts and resell them I had a hand full of friends who did it by spoofing IPS and making a lot of accounts and selling them for $2 apiece and made over $200

Honestly the more I play games the more I think of them as a total waste of time.

It's nice to play the single player but I see they have catered to online nowadays. I remember the old times playing GTA 3 solo back then, but now it's feel changed.

This could be a great marketing plot for GTA VI because it really sets the scene for hundred of thousands of payers to fall in love with the franchise, but it's not 100% fair to the people who paid 50+ dollars when the game when in came out. I personally think that players who have payed real money for the game should get a free DLC or some in game addition for free

In my opinion, gta v being free is a great thing (I didnt buy it and used the opportunity to download it for free). Because people that does not have enough money to play this amazing game now finally has the chance. Another advantage is that a lot of servers are going to be more popular and might get contributors.

i think i have now got 6 alt accounts for gta, also servers died the hour they released it on epic and rockstar servers were even worse

I'm glad it's free, I don't think too many more people were interested in spending the money to get the game this late in it's lifetime. GTA 6 will be out in a couple of years and some people, like me, would rather just wait until then instead of spending their money now on a game that won't last too much longer. More players will also get more people interested in the franchise, so overall I think this is a good thing for them to do.

As someone whos paid for the game 3 times (ps3, ps4 and pc) I think its a great thing. It brings new players to the community which is almost dead at this point.

they just want more members

I personally think it is a great thing for Rockstar and Epic Games to be doing during Quarantine
