I love classical music not so much for what it is, but being a musician, it happens to be one of the best tools for developing technique on an instrument. Bach is the man for me although after the Baroque period, his music was considered to be old hat stuff. Not so!!! His inventions, studies, and fugues will bestow monstrous chops

Depends, really. Not a fan of the more frantic stuff. I love calm and melodic classical, like Bach, Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven, Debussy, Tchaikovsky and Mozart.
