I think it's absurd and human beings manage to progress over racial hate..

He was saying he couldnt breath when they were trying to put him in a the police car. He literally asked to be put in the ground. Watch all the footage from that day, the bodycams as well as convenience store security.

It was mind boggling to see someone kneel on another for so long without rendering aid when Floyd was clearly in distress. It isn't anywhere near as cut and dry as the media tries to make it out to be. Everyone wants to act like it was an act of racism, yet race wasn't mentioned a single time during trial (because there was no evidence of it). Chauvin was on a power trip and was either too callous or too stupid to recognize a human being who was clearly in a state of distress. That being said, Floyd certainly didn't do himself any favors. He would likely still be alive (regardless of Chauvin's actions) if he didn't do a bunch of fentanyl and try to buy cigarettes with counterfeit currency. It's a tragic situation. Chauvin still deserves some jail time, but I have a hard time believing the murder conviction will stand. I've never seen a more compelling reason for a change of venue than the Chauvin trial. No way in hell the jury wasn't influenced by the political environment and the rioting they drove through everyday on their way to/from court from the Daunte Wright shooting.

I don't think Floyd was innocent, but regardless the cops fucked up pretty badly in how they were treating them. From what I can tell, justice has been served to them.

Fucked up situation all the way around. The police officers in question handled everything poorly, but there are individuals in every career field who are pieces of shit. George Floyd wasn't innocent however, he was a drug addict who was strung out on drugs at the time of the altercation. He was wanted by police for using counterfeit money at a store and then resisting arrest.
Obviously if you refuse to do what a police officer is telling you, things are going to get violent. Guilty or innocent, you must comply with their lawful orders or you're resisting. George Floyd is seen in the situation pulling away from the officer who ordered him out of his vehicle, and PHYSICALLY resisting arrest.

Is George Floyd innocent of his crimes? No, he wasn't.
Did the police officers do their jobs? Sure, they did what they were supposed to do.
Did the arresting officer have an excessive use of force and be fired? Absolutely. He handled the situation poorly, and he really isn't fit to be in the career field.
Should George Floyd be praised for his actions? Fuck no. Dude was a criminal, why is everyone holding him on a pedestal like he's some sort of hero?

Absurd and wish the world could strive towards a more coherent future by using this as a situation to hereafter absolutely avoid!

That's a little intense. Yes, he deserved to be arrested for resisting arrest, but being knelt on for nine minutes and suffocating to death in the street isn't justice, it's murder.

George Floyd was not a saint, like you said, but he didn't deserve to die. He deserved to be arrested, yes (especially when he resisted arrest). But not to be callously murdered in the middle of the street.

Anyone who makes excuses for Floyds death is missing the point entirely. He was just the straw that broke the camels back. It didn't matter what he did. slavery and racism is simply a huge part of the united states and most people are sick of it. Anyone that doesn't want to acknowledge institutional racism is ignorant or insecure and they've had the privilege of not being treated like a 3rd class citizen.
