for me it has got to be notepad++ its easy to use and very useful to use and a lot of people use it for coding websites to this day

It depends on what coding language you use lol
But yea, notepad++ is a good text editor

For coding c++ and c# I like to use visual studio. I also get the enterprise ed free from school.

For me, Visual Studio Code and brackets. I use the both, and in brackets you can test your code by running it from the IDE via live view.

Atom.io. Plain and simple. Also open sourced with lots of plugins.

Currently I am learning web development and have been using Sublime Text!

for web coding I typically recommend adobe dreamweaver or brackets as a free alternative

I prefer to use Atom for every type of coding. It's easy to use, customizable, and looks the best.
