As the title says, do you think this is a good direction for the game to be going? Ignoring the battle royal mode (that's another topic for discussion) CSGO being free now can introduce a few new problems back into the game, such as hackers. I personally don't like the idea of it, but what do you think?

I think its gonna go down the sink. More people only multiply the current problems. Unless they do something about the hackers its not gonna get any better money wise and playerbase wise

Decently sad about this, competitive is just going down. We paid for the game, and now its free, we got a god damn badge. lol.

In my opinion, the F2P model destroyed only the CS game,

They only do have VAC (which is really bad) and now they did CS:GO F2P. I don't know what they want to do against cheaters. I read that they want to do HWID bans but I don't think this will be an good solution. There are many ways to spoof your HWID.

Yeah, that's true. Now everyone will start cheating as they don't lose anything for trying, and even with software cheats you can still get away easily.

I think it is a very bad idea as it will bring more cheaters into the game.

problems back into the game, such as hackers can do any thing and no one can or may be crackers
