What got you interested?

came across it from a friend playing it, i then started watching people play it on youtube and i bought the game lol

First became interested in 2012, and was enthralled in it because of the YouTuber Stampylonghead/Stampylongnose.

i alwasy knew about it growing up but i never played it up untill 2019. i played it because my friends started playing it

i discovered minecraft back in 2009-2010, when i saw a video of it, basically teaching what was minecraft and stuff like that, i dont think i will ever find that video again, because i dont really remember it, but i got introduced to it by it, after that... man, i played 2009 to 2011 fully dedicated to minecraft, i stopped playing nowadays, but i stil return once in a while, what caught my eyes on this game was just... the unique vibe honestly, the lonely feel made me feel great, reminded me of what i was back then.

You couldn't get away from it if you were a kid in the 2010s, I jumped on the bandwagon in 2013 because unlike fortnite it was a lot less pretentious and more fun

I liked someone who played it (my boyfriend) so I started playing to have something else in common with him. Two years later I still love it lol

Don't know if you remember but there was LITE version of Minecraft on the App Store way back then and I was in love with it. Then my dad bought us Minecraft

I think most people are attracted to the sandbox open world idea. The fact that the levels are procedurally generated is another nice touch.
