I am curious as to if using one card will give better results in most of the triple A games.
Have you tried it? Considered getting another myself on many occasions, but every time
I've found it to not be worth not just in terms of performance increase to cost ratio,
but some games bug out or plain suffer from it.

I have got two high ends and its generally better two than three lower. But i actually just buy them and dont care about it coz they was crazily expensive :D :D :D ....

Not what I asked.
I got the 1080 ti the day it came out, so Founders Edition. Wanted SLI, but after
looking at reviews, most of the games I pay would get lower framerates.

Is that still the case?

The more I look in to it, the less beneficial it seem (omitting price from the equation entirtely)

I am using an AMD 7970. I'm still satisfied with it. maybe it should be replaced.

AH ye, sorry a bit misunderstod.. Hm, have you some benchamarkes to show? thats sounds interesting. Even If you look to game studios, they are using mostly top GPU's when they developing games, so why it would run better on lower graphics.

The whole ordeal of SLI. It's not what they work on that matters, but the
support they put in for it through the way they code (?) among other things.

I've heard from a friend what work with tech that Nvidia is starting to cut
support for it, not just in terms of how many you can have.

https://youtu.be/YcH2ri9YZO4 skip to 6:41 for part about some games suffering from it (and around 10 min mark).
I play BF1 and The Witcher 3 alot, but I also play many other
