What is art meaning for you ?

Would love to read your perspective on it!

the basic dictionary definition has some meaning to me.
"something that is created with imagination and skill and that is beautiful or that expresses important ideas or feelings" because art IS that, isn't it?

Ps: 'Art is generally understood nowadays as any activity or creation made by people with a communicative or aesthetic purpose' - but art is so much more ..

Art can be served as human activity linked to manifestations of an aesthetic or communicative nature

I heard Art has no function at all.. Art is use less and that's why we need Art

For me the meaning of art is basically expressing a personal view in an aesthetic pleasing way. Or using art as a way to express emotions to release inner turmoil.

Art to me is a break in the chain. A place anyone can delve into but a place few understand. Art is everything.

I believe this sentence encompasses everything art ought to be:

Many believe that art is anything that stirs EMOTION in you. These emotions depend entirely on your history, your story, basically everything that comes together to make up who you are.
