Hi, nowadays my smartphone is an Samsung Galaxy A5 2015 and im questioning myself if it is a good idea to save money to buy a new phone so thats why i posted this thread so i can ask more people what is the best smartphone rn that is cheap and has quality and so in my mind i see the Samsung Galaxy S8 as a possibility because of its design that atracts me alot.

Whichever Samsung phone you like the most, I guess. I don't see the point in switching to iphone as you're already satisfied with android phones so a Samsung galaxy phone would be the best option. S8 is good as far as I know, if it fits your budget then I'd say go for it.

if your concern is on performance xiaomi is the best choice, for design and cool features, camera, etc better buy samsung or iPhone.

I used to have a Leeco Le Max (x900+) that i loved, but after about a year it broke down when it hit the floor :disgusting: it was really cheep, i got it from honorbuy.com when i bought it, it only shipped in Chinese language, and i had to fiddle around alot to make it English, lucky me i got a friend who translated stuff for me so i could access ADB and then get all of the most important apps out of it to change the language in them manually, but at the time i finished the translation of dialer, contact, messages, and settings they released native US English so all that time was wasted ^^. I am getting a new one as soon as i get my first paycheck from my new job  it's great performance for the money spent.

I think asking things like this is a really non-sense thing..
each of us have particular opinions..
Im not into design, edsign doesnt make the device better so for me its bs have a looking good device and a crap inside..

I like the new Motorola g6 plus 64gb (i have) and new z3 force (upcoming that im going to buy)
They have good specs, they have venerable design, and they work for it purpose..

I always do as you, i ask others their opinions but in the end im the one who will buy and most of times i go for other option..

but if you care about design.. well good look, theres lots of good looking ones out there waiting to be chosed

It all depends on the os you like better. For an apple os user, the iPhone 7 is great. For android the galaxy s9 is great.

I got a OnePlus 6 recently. OnePlus is a company that hasn't been around for too long so they're not as well-established as the likes of Apple/Samsung, but I found the OnePlus 6 to be really good value for money. For $529 you get a phone with a Snapdragon 845 and 6GB of RAM. This is the level of specs you would expect from the highest-end phones of the era that cost a lot more (for instance, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a Snapdragon 845 but only 4GB of RAM despite costing over $100 more).

The phone's screen is very big at 6.28 inches. Some might prefer the large screen but others might find it too big. Also, unlike Samsung with their Gear VR and Google with their Daydream VR, the OnePlus phones don't really have any good options for VR if that's something that interests you. Other than that, the camera isn't quite as great as the best phones but it's still perfectly good for the vast majority of people. Overall I would recommend it.
