My favourite one is the newest as they keep adding awesome features.

1.7 since it the best version for pvp and thats the only thing I still like in minecraft.

Honestly, when 1.8 came out, I hated switching, I rarely played it, and now it just get's worse and worse after every update. Anything before 1.8 is where it's at.

Minecraft Alpha Definitely. 2.5.6! Though I disliked that trees don't decay leaves. I think this is one good version of minecraft. Good 'ol days!
