What is your guys honest opinion over Twitch.tv

I think Twitch is a good site with dozens of content creators. However, there's too much drama nowadays with famous streamers like Pokimane which is just cringe.

I don't think there will ever be another significant competitor to twitch, much like how youtube is the de facto video sharing website

i don't like twitch, streamers are boring or only wants money
streams themselves are boring

censorship went too far. if u cant steam bring racist then why the hell should you steam?

As a streaming platform, twitch is definitely good, but it's kinda disappoint me when i see what direction that platform is moving on

I appreciate twitch a lot for various reasons, but I usually prefer youtube since I with a non-live video you can edit and polish a vid before it is viewed widely, which can be important. However, If you are active on twitch, I would just say make sure you capitalize on whatever your viewship wants from you. For example, being able to interact with your viewers live is something that makes people feel like they are a part of your life, and makes them want to tune in regularly. Just be in touch with your viewership and expand upon what they want.

I like twitch, but I'm not a huge fan of them allowing 'hot-tub' type streams. Seems very skeevy and just for profit.

Can't say ive ever used it but If I were ever to get back into streaming/video creation I would deffinatly pick youtube over twitch, just from personal experience and from what there community is like
