I have a couple of examples that come to mind for me on this.

Altered Carbon made me realize how horrible immortality would probably be for the world (I won't go into much more detail here to avoid spoilers. short version = the rich are immortal).

Star Trek: The Next Generation (and most of the Star Treks) made me so hopeful about the possibility of the future, and will always be a favorite of mind.

What about you?

To be honest, i don't wana be seen as a weeb but most of the movies are anime from Studio ghibli that changed how i see the world in general.

It's more like Chiiro, Arriety and older like Mononoke. That brings you feelings that make you think on tought u have. Sorry for my bad english, i'm french ^^'

I would have to say black panther. I never realised how racism can keep people down before that. I thought stats are the full truth. I thought it's that black people commit more crime, so why have sympathy for that, but that movies taught me a bit about your starting lines and how circumstances decide a lot of your life.

The Little Prince for me personally; the recontextualization of its themes from the original story was great in the 2015 adaptation's plot to a modern setting!
