What mybb should I use ?

What version of mybb is the best to use right now ?
1.8 or 2.0 ?
Thanks so much just working on a new forum again on my down time been gone since 2014

The one that is in the website mybb.com/download
2.0 is still not stable and its not officially released yet.
and even after that the most of the themes and plugins are created for 1.8 so maybe you will encounter some errors using them in 2.0v.
so for now 1.8.

Kind of an old post, but I wasn't here when the OP made the post. 1.8 is still the latest stable release as of Feb. 2020. So, not much dev going on with MyBB lately. And as for themes. I have yet to find one that's really impressed me. You'll have to go with what you like.
