Me personally i just bought a 1950x, custom loop, and the asrock mobo.
right now i only have 16gb of ram (2x 8gb sticks) but i'll be getting more down the road
since all this cost so much i was only able to pick up a $20 gtx 560ti.. but at least i have all the cpu power to rule the world now.

my old system was an i7-3770k but that got fried thanks to a roof leak.

I'm using a soni vaio so... not super specs but does the job for common tasks

Intel Core i7-6700HQ (6M Cache / 2.6 GHz / turbo: 3.5GHz) Quad Core
NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060
16GB DDR4 at 2333MHz (was 8 but now 16 since I added 8GB more)
1TB HDD + 256GB SSD

Honestly pretty good for games from 2017 - it's a laptop tho but for $1000 I think it's affordable...
