What programming language to start with?

start with Python you will be able to code good programs but if you really want to learn programming start with C++

I would recommend Java as a good start. It's pretty similiar to many languages and a semi-start to webdevelopment

Javascript is cool, It powers alot of things in the internet, applications would've be done without it.

With Python you can code some programs that you can user on your daily tasks, and it is a good one to have on your resume.

I started off in c++, pretty much read a quarter of a 800 page book, then taught myself / researched the rest. From there I went onto learning how machine code (assembly) is written. After learning those 2 languages, everything else seemed like a walk in the park, although I usually use c++ for everything that I do code.

python as what most people have said. or C++ if you want something a little more advance

I started with lua because that is what gmod uses and I wanted to make some addons for that
