The most important part - CREATIVITY.
Skills u can learn it. Creativity born within the person. That will separate good designer and brilliant designer

I'm in this field. Really good answer!

I would also add that agood designer has the mindset of a problem solver. The client has a problem (not enough sales, not enough visibility, etc.) and the way that you solve the problem determines your worth.

Other qualities might be: being a good listener, being a good comunicator for ideas or teamwork, being a good salesperson for selling your ideas, being efficient with time.

The ability to use whatever software they have (photoshop/illustrator/inkscape/whatever) and bring their ideas to a usable format. It's super frustrating having a solid creative idea, but not having the skill set/ knowledge of your tools to bring the idea into the world

A major factor in Sorabji's change of attitude was his financial situation. Sorabji's father had returned to Bombay after his marriage in 1892, where he played an important role in the development of India's engineering and cotton machinery industries. Following an initial trip to India, Sorabji's second one (lasting from May 1933 to January 1934)[53] revealed that his father had been living with another woman since 1905 and had married her in 1929.[54] Sorabji and his mother were excluded from his will and received a fraction of what his Indian heirs did.[55] An action was instituted around 1936 and the bigamous marriage was declared null and void by a court in 1949, but the financial assets could not be retrieved.[56][57][n 6]
