What's the deal with DarkRP?

Honestly, I'd have to say all the YouTubers who made videos back in 2014/2015 made DarkRP how it is today. There was a boom of videos, and DarkRP server counts sky rocketed. It's also a really easy gamemode to learn and relatively easy to get to the top of the chain. I guess it just attracts people because its simple, yanno?

sandbox is boring as hell, ttt is also boring, all other gamemodes are dead due to shitty management, darkrp can be easily managed by 12 year olds

personally I find DarkRP pretty fun as it's really easy to just jump on and chill

what people like the RP simply there is not necessarily anything to understand

I think it's because there is an actual reason for rules, like you can have rules again'st people randomly killing, or have some rules that would be really retarded on sandbox. It's also nice to not just be able to spawn stuff, and work towards some stuff.

DarkRP can be a bit cancerous, but it can also be pretty fun if you find the right people to play with. When i played it, i used to play it mostly for the sake of meeting different people and doing silly things.

Its very fun believe me, I've been playing on DarkRP with a lot of good memories for example when my house got attacked by 10 people while there are only 3 of us lol
