What's the future of Garry's Mod?

Well there are soooo many people posting Workshop addons, gmod is the game with the most Workshop uploads, when people enjoy being creative and create more Workshop addons. I think Gmod won't die so recently.
However Gmod 2 is on the way.

Garis 2 will be released and everyone will throw 1 garis and go play for 2 garis where there will be a better engine and lots of opportunities for coders

I hope that it gets updates to improve the engine and the game itself

In my opinion Garry's mod is dying. I used to see a lot of people on DarkRP when I get on around Mid-Day(EST) and now I see about half of what I would usually see. Every game dies out one day no matter what. One way to kinda well save Garry's Mod is for Valve to make a HL3 and use what they have from that to make a Garry's Mod 2. I really want to see one tbh.

It will go like SAMP, slowly devolving into utter shit until every server is run by 3rd worlders.

GMod 2 is a hoax Garry Newman is not working on it and it's not called Garry's Mod 2 anyways

Unless Gmod 2 has backwards compatibility with gmod 1 addons, I think gmod 1 is going to stay alive and keep doing well. The source engine is pretty nice and the fact that it'll run on old shitbox computers will keep a lot of people around who can't afford nice computers.

I think garry's mod has a very short life span. I would not like it if the same modes, new mode, or a lot of developers ... I want something new instead of bored rp.

It will die, considering they are working on a new game that is going to be like Gmod just with a better Engine.

I think Gmod will add good anti-cheat and optimization. I hope that it someday will happen.
