I love tinkering around in Python, though I'm trying to move into learning java and C#

C# and the .NET framework generally seem to be the best right now. Java is great and all but not realistic to use in many cases.

c# or java for anything that smells like a server
python or bash shell otherwise
Powershell if I hate myself. okay but honestly though. it's niche, but if you ever get stuck administering a hundred windows boxes, you will praise baby jesus that you can do stuff to all of them with one command. hell of a lot simpler than writing the equivalent in any other language.
