For me, I have a GeForce GTX 960M. I plan on getting a tower soon with a 1080 Ti or a 1070 Ti but expensive asf...

I would imagine that it would but I don't really mind. More modern graphics cards should be more resilient anyway. After all, they're doing what they're designed to do

My graphics card has been GTX 1070 plus for about a year+ now. it runs really well still. no kinks or anything.
