Currently besides my gaming laptop i bought a desktop off a buddy who didnt want it, currently has a rx 450
 and a intel i7 7770k and i want to upgrade recommendations on gpu and cpu?

Your CPU is fine as is but I'd recommend upgrading your GPU to a 1660 or 1070 if you've got the money for it also one of the most important things is RAM so unless you've got 16gb already I'd suggest you pump some money for RAM

Upgrade your GPU its most importend for games.
Depends on your budget you can choose also AMD because the displays are much cheaper.

I would just buy a Gaming Laptop wihtin $1000 to $4000.
Most specs in those ranges are 1060 to 2070 if you're lucky.

You need to send some parameters before, like how much you are willing to spend, or which game is indispensable to you.

In general, nowadays I would go w/ AMD + Nvidia

Go To PCworld site you may get some idea and search for pc build sites. Where you can add items accroing to your needs. Even the site will give you a suggestion what I can't give to you. thakyu

I guess you should change the graphic card... your CPU is fine... we need more info: RAM, PSU, etc.
