Try to be as helpful as you can to your colleagues especially if you are new. Implement improvements to help in improving efficiency. If excel is being used, go learn vba and try to see if you can increase the productivity by reducing their work

My only tip I learned from my job is : read your insurance contract before calling to declare something.

Try to maintain regular communication and overall good manners with everyone in a company (if you are in a team, this includes both your team and other teams/departments).

work smart not hard and take it slow because no matter how fast you finnish what you are doing there will always be more OR even worse they will see you just sitting around not doing anything and they will think that you are just beeing lazy

Talking it out and being a smooth talker can take you out of many sticky situation and help you get your way
