What was a game you tried but didn't like, but now love after a second chance?

So for me Warframe was a game I trier really early on and I was just too dumb to continue the first mission, like I actually got lost and at the time I don't know if the minimap was broken, or just I was to silly to follow it but I couldn't continue. That was 5ish years ago, now it's a game I sunk sooooo many hours into and it really became one of my favourite games because the movement and grind is something a brainless fool like myself loves <3 so yeah my question is was there a game you tried but had to give a second or even more than 2 chances to really get into and you are glad you did?

TF2. I didn't really dislike it, it's just that back in the day when I played it for the first time I thought it was kind off meh. Then years later I installed it and started playing it again just because I was bored and I got pretty hooked.

Ghosts'n'goblins. I liked when I was a child and now I can play better

Breath of the Wild. I hated it at first, thought it was boring. Picked it up a month later and fell in love with it, amazing game.

Omg yes. Same with warframe for me, I honestly knew it had a pretty hooked community, everything seemed cool when you loaded it up but my god was I so silly that I couldnt figure out how to get past the first level (I think you had to go through a vent or something?) so gave up and the same happened down the line when a friend also wanted to get into it, took my a 3rd try after watching a livestream of it muahaha

Hm. Maybe the Elder Scrolls series. When I first tried Oblivion I felt annoyed that the game even gave me the option to like steal anything. Like things are just lying there in people's houses and Zelda taught me to just loot everything. Then I get thrown in jail and feel like that means I just fk'd up my save or whatever and then I just felt bad about playing it.

Meanwhile Skyrim is like one of my favourite games ever. Maybe the streamlining plus coming into with a more understanding mindset allowed me to properly enjoy the immersion and freedom in that series.

"Infamous: Second Son". Watched it on YT on release and liked it. Once i got my PS4 i bought it and didnt like the movement. after a couple of months and a week without internet i played it to 100% and was wondering why i didnt played it earlier.
