What was your first LAN experience like?

I am sure alot of you have been playing counter strike since a young age and probably ended up playing it in a cyber caf, what was your first experience like?

Me being a complete noob back on CS 1.6 and being shredded by people who managed to hit AK headshots from a mile away.
