What would you do with a million dollars?

The another $50k in a competent mutual fund that I wouldn't touch until I'm 60. With compound interest, that should net another million. Then I'd buy a house for me and one for my mom, plus another duplex to rent out. I'd also buy a car for my mom and I, nothing to flashy. With the rest,I'd take a vacation to Italy and the Bahamas, build a hidden grow room for shrooms and a chem lab to make easy income each month. Build a top of the line gaming PC and VPS. Upgrade my home security, buy a few guns, then put $100k in a Mexican savings account. I only pick Mexico because they currently have the highest interest rate. At that point, I should have $50k left and I'll use that for various investments, opportunities, side hustles and day trading. Nothing too fancy...I'm kinda boring and thrifty but I'd be content.

RE: What would you do with a million dollars? 01-10-2020, 02:58 PM #689 Wait for the inevitable 2nd stock market crash of 2020 and buy Tesla & Boeing stock. Then next year I would buy a cat4-5 farm land and make a solar farm for 1$mil and keep the rest in stock to collect dividends.

RE: What would you do with a million dollars? 01-10-2020, 09:51 PM #690 I would attempt to make money off of that, but I dont know how I would. Maybe investing but from my perspective that is ask risky as gambling, so honestly I would research how to make more money from it.
