What year did you start web development?

I started in 1999 on a computer I put together out of a bunch of computers tossed from a local church. I would ride my bike down to blockbuster for a free 700 hour AOL discs. Web development has changed my life. I've never been to school for it however I work fulltime for an online advertising company now.
