Also, gaming consoles these days are getting more expensive and are basically the same as a computer. They're just PCs with a preinstalled software (e.g. Sony's PS5 software) and a disk reader at this point. In comparison, the original Nintendo had custom boards and components for gaming purposes and was completely proprietary.

RE: What you think about the new sony 5? 21-06-2020, 08:54 AM #4 I think sony is retarded when it comes to working with others, zero cross play (Until recently), very closed off, little to no open sourcing, Xbox is far superior in caring about their users. I'm a PS guy though.

Although the PS5 is meant to have some really decent optimisation in terms of performance!

Aside from that, I don't foresee myself getting it only because I still am attached to my PS4.

It's honestly refreshing to see a very clean and futuristic design. That being said, I think it is lacking in terms of hardware, and when it comes to games, I'd rather like them to look better than the console.
It would be nice if xbox gets off their ass and redesigns the xbox series x. All they need to do is twist the form, cut the edges off, and add some led or etching that glows.
