Whats the best tip you would give to a new player

shut off the chat. Seriously, it's just better that way

keep playing against bots till u get the hang of it

Play with friend and make a lot of fun cause this is what a game is made for

after two years of the thread, hope he have learned to cs good xD

You should also silence the conversation and focus on the game and watch educational videos.

learn like 1-3 champions and get really good at them, dont play pointless games in ranked just because you feel like playing.
Only play ranked when you are feeling confident

Dont type in all chat and argue with teamates or enemy team its a waste of you time

Learn to gossip first, and for second not to despair with people who make mistakes xd
