Like the title says, whats your favorite code editor and why?

Personally i have used NPP since 2007 and that fast became my favorite mostly for the ease of styles for my PHP, CSS and HTML. I do however lack a live preview tho. For this i have to setup a "dev" page so i don't publish something stupid just to try it out, would be better if i could just type some code, refresh in the same window and save/publish any ideas what im looking for?

VS community 2017, although people are pushing me to use vs code. If i'm editing lua files or smth small i use sublime text.

My first code Editor was Notepad++. I started using it as it was recommended by a friend as I needed one for Gmod Server Development. I tried Sublime but I didn't really like it, I thought it was to similar to Atom. I generally use Notepad++ for all my code editing. Atom is also really nice.

I use Atom, because this editor is extremely... design.

I write mostly scripts in bash and python. No need to compile or run. I also use vim to take quick notes in meetings and such.
