When did you get your first PC?

I got my "own" PC (it was a laptop) when I was about ten, it was the time when minecraft was starting to get popular.

~2008 it was a Sony laptop that I bought from a Sony store (when they existed). It ran windows 7 and I mainly used it for music I downloaded from 4shared.

I got my first PC in 2016 when I was 14 years old and I remember working all summer to get enough money to buy it since my family couldn't really afford to buy me one. Instead of buying a prebuilt PC I opted to buy the parts individually and then assemble them since it was cheaper. However, I didn't understand much of the insides of a PC, and I had to look up tutorials on my phone. After a lot of work, I finally managed to assemble it, and although the cable management sucked, I just felt really happy because my hard work actually paid off.

The first thing I owned was some shitty laptop in like 2008, I would sit on Roblox literally all day just messing around as a Guest using the provided chat and saying "I like you" to random people

2008 was the year those were the gold days of simple internet.

I got my first pc when I was like 12... stole so many games, what a great time.

December of 2001, i was 15 years old and the first thing I do is install turboC and starcraft.

I used to have a pc that I shared with my mom, but my own pc only in 2017
