When was the last time you saw the ocean?

honestly its been a while i traveled to Florida once and went to the water and saw the gulf of Mexico it was beautiful

Quite like this post had to sit and think about it living inland. Did some work at a life boat station 6 months ago, was cold, wet and windy... not the best

It has been a couple years since I have seen a ocean in person.

I saw the ocean about a year ago when i went on holidays to spain, it was pretty cool.

Sometime in the last 12 months. I'm less than an hour drive away so its not difficult to do.

When I was travelling. It was fantastic to be honest.

I look at the ocean every single day as I live right near it.

In 2017, and many times in the years earlier, I swam in the sea around South Korea. Names in that area are political hot topics. Im comfortalbe saying I swam in the Pacific Ocean. The parts I swam in are called by Korea the East Sea, the South Sea and the West Sea. Japan calls the first one the Sea of Japan and it appears on many maps with that name. The Chinese, and most people, call the last one the Yellow Sea.

Politics aside, I loved the East Sea swimming the most. I saw many animals while snorkelling and the water was relatively clean.

Last time I saw the ocean was yesterday evening, driving over the crest of a hill at sunset.
