I have heard of s&nd box. Facepunch said it isn't Gmod 2 but the physics and everything sounds very similar to the way Gmod works.

I saw in a video from a French Youtuber that GMOD 2 is in project but with another name ...

GMOD will never die. Too many people still come up with new gamemodes n shit for it to die. Plus it has a lot of great ones.

never, the authors are bored with developing it.
It is better to play the usual gmod than to wait days for something new. it is already updated by the users themselves.

Gmod is very much alive and won' die anytime soon imo. Just check the steam chars, always in top 10 most played games
