I actually know what you mean as I grew up in care and suffered from ADHD as a child and also depression since an extremely young age.

In my GCSE's I had all F and U grades after I left care I went straight to college to gain qualifications that I needed for my dream job at the time which was a social worker (wanted to help kids like the staff at the care home helped me)

However I never had any help in school at all so I think what you want to do will be beneficial to so many many young people and I speak from experience there

Honestly feels like an area that doesn't get talked about enough, hence why I'm trying to elaborate on certain benefits of the roles.

There are all sorts of things that can affect performance and people just need that extra boost.

There's been so many cases that I've personally known that just failed to give adequate results, especially regarding those in care. They dont provide those in care with the correct help, and some who actually dont need or want certain help just get forced into it - why? Because the school gets bonus funding if they do this. People refuse it because the current systems are usually effortless and don't give the correct support. There seems to never be a well balance between the two.

I comletely agree with that statement, have you ever considered starting a support group or even a charity?

Support group? Yes.
Charity? No.

A charity would mean a business, and I simply wouldn't enjoy managing such a thing. I just wouldn't be good at it. I support charities now and try to actively help out practically, but I really couldn't manage it effectively

Yes but I am sure there are people out there who completely share your views and would hel you manage the charity, there is also so much support out there that would helpsuch startups

Sure, but then there's a lot of other factors to take into account: risk, trust of the other participants, advertising and support.

A lot of charities plummet on start-up. They're usually done in good faith, but end up lacking the knowledge to run a business. People who then could've gained support miss out on quite a lot, as you could directly support a charity of the same cause with little to no risk if they're already going above and beyond in terms of how known they are and who they're able to support. I'd personally much rather have donations towards schools and dominant charities directly than start up my own, because I know a lot of potential could really be wasted. Business management isnt my area and I dont really have anyone I can trust to help support me in such a thing, because charities are easily exploitable and i wouldn't create one with someone who I cant wholeheartedly say will be entirely trustworthy. Just isn't worth it to me.

From Norway! I guess there's a big focus on fish. Especially where I live.
One thing I learnt recently that I guess is a bit interesting is that we norwegians, when we don't quite catch something what someone else said in a conversation, we don't answer with "can you say it again? I didn't hear what you said". Instead we answer with a simple "H?", like "huh?". For people not used with this i guess it would come off as quite rude, but in Norway it's so normal!
