Where to get your first clients if you're a Graphic Designer

Social media worked for me even i know i could have done it better. What way would you look for someone who could be interested in your job or just need the service?

depends what you do, i make clothes n do cover art, basically just seek out people who want to get into your niche of what you generally design, i started in the call of duty community as a designer so thats where most people start out n find there first few clients

you can promote your work on Behance where you can start conecting with other graphic designers and then you can use platforms like fiver or just social media and sponsor your posts on them
